"I've been meaning to write this review for over a year but I've been a little busy, and I owe/blame Awake Acupuncture with Anita for a big part of it. Over a year ago I came to Anita because I desperately wanted to have a baby, and it didn't seem to be happening. I had heard other people's super positive experiences with her, but since I had never done acupuncture myself, I was a little hesitant to try. I should have gone earlier. The session I had with Anita was relaxing and fun and I walked out of her doors feeling hopeful that it would lead to a positive pregnancy test. Fast forward two weeks, and I got my positive pregnancy test, and then fast forward a few more weeks and I found out I was expecting not one, but two babies! I know that I can't say for sure that it was the acupuncture that did it, but I know that the next time I want to add to my family I will not hesitate to visit Anita's office right away."

"My parents were visiting for a week and after their flight to San Diego, my dad was experiencing a lot of back pain. He has always struggled with his back and has had a few neck and spine surgeries in his life. I encouraged him to try acupuncture as an alternative treatment. I took him to see Dr. Lee for his first treatment ever. He was a little skeptical, but desperate to try anything so he could make the flight home. Dr. Lee's office is an adorable cottage style building behind the UPS store in Solana Beach. The office is very peaceful, beautifully decorated and sad soft music playing in the background. During the visit, Dr. Lee was very kind to my dad. She has a very friendly and peaceful demeanor. He immediately felt comfortable in her office and when I saw him at the end of his treatment, he said it was very relaxing and he actually fell asleep listening to the soothing music. The next day he and my mom flew back home and when I checked in on him, he said that Dr. Lee was a miracle worker. His pain had subsided, even after the second leg of their trip.
